About the Studies Participating Centers Complete safety information for BUPHENYL^®	We appreciate you taking the time to learn more about three clinical trials being conducted for patients with Urea Cycle Disorders. These studies will test the safety and efficacy of HPN-100 (an investigational drug - meaning that it has not to date been shown whether it is safe or effective to treat UCD) compared with BUPHENYL^® (sodium phenylbutyrate). The main measure of efficacy is control of blood ammonia. Patients 6 years of age and older may be eligible to participate in these studies.
